Winter Health Challenge Details

What is the Winter Health Challenge?

Year after year our management team is challenged to maintain our weight and health during the winter months. Did you know that the average person can gain up to 5 pounds over the holiday season? We also notice that many of our patients are challenged too. So we are challenging our Practice team and you to work together to help each other and our pets be healthier. Our management team would like to challenge you to participate with your pets, in our first Winter Health Challenge. The 2016 Winter Health Challenge features activities and valuable tools to help you and your pets improve health, feel better and have fun. Plus you could win prizes!

Why are Bellevue and Sandusky Animal Hospitals offering the Winter Health Challenge?

The Bellevue and Sandusky Animal Hospitals are committed to taking care of our people and our pets by offering valuable wellness tools to help you and your pets improve their health year-round.

When is the winter health challenge?

The winter health challenge will start on December 1, 2016 and run through April 1, 2017.

What are the benefits of participating in the Challenge?

A fun way to achieve better health and learn healthy habits for you and your pets. A chance to compete for individual and team prizes.

How does it work?

Together we can set personal goals to either lose or maintain weight, encourage one another and celebrate our success in the spring of 2017.

  1. Register! You can download a registration form by clicking here, or stop in and pick one up at either of our hospitals.
  2. Complete Your FREE Health Evaluation! Once registered, one of our friendly staff members will  contact you to setup a time to receive a free health evaluation for your pets.
  3. Get Focused, Get Connected! As you work towards your health goals, keep up with us through our  Healthy Pets Facebook Group. If you aren’t on Facebook that’s okay, we’ll be checking in with you  regularly throughout the winter. Our website will also be posting valuable information about nutrition, exercise, assessment tools, and more.
  4. Be Rewarded! At the end of our challenge we will be sponsoring a special event to celebrate everyone’s hard work. Prizes and praises to all will be awarded.
