Christina Cartwright, DVM

Associate Veterinarian

Joined in 2017

Dr. Christina Cartwright began her career in veterinary medicine back in high school. She worked for Bellevue Animal Hospital as a kennel technician. Once being accepted to the University of Notre Dame, to earn her degree in Biology, she spent summers and holidays continuing to work with Bellevue Animals Hospital as a receptionist. After earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and a minor in Business from the Ohio State University, she now joins Bellevue and Sandusky Animal Hospitals as an Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Cartwright works with all small and exotic animals in every facet of medicine, but especially loves cardiology, internal medicine, and ophthalmology. She is happy to get to work every day with a staff that she knows and loves in the community in which she was raised.

FOR EMERGENCIES after hours pertaining to a surgery performed by Bellevue Animal Hospital in the last 14 days, please contact: (419) 603-8299. FOR ALL OTHER EMERGIENCIES after hours please reach out to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital. We usually hold an educational staff meeting from 12pm - 3pm on the second or third Wednesday of each month. We will be closed during this time.

After Hours

Since we are unable to staff our hospitals 24 hours a day, please contact one of the emergency centers below. They will be able provide you and your pet with the after hours supervision and care you need.
