Winter Health Challenge Resources

During the Winter Health Challenge, the Bellevue and Sandusky Animals Hospitals will be relying heavily on something we call the ‘body condition score’.  A body condition score is a compilation of pet measurements that describes a pet’s body type.  This score is a number ranging from 1 to 9, with 1 being very underweight and 9 being very overweight.  Here are some helpful resources that can be used to determine body condition scores.

We usually hold an educational staff meeting from 12pm - 3pm on the second or third Wednesday of each month. We will be closed during this time.

After Hours

Since we are unable to staff our hospitals 24 hours a day, please contact one of the emergency centers below. They will be able provide you and your pet with the after hours supervision and care you need.
